To town planing office Cairns Regional Council I XXXXX OF XXXXX have known Edward Manier and his late father George Manier since XXXX Since the start of COVID19 Edward has conducted his home based business 111-115 UPPER RICHARDSON ST with all my support. Over the past 10 years crime has escalated, I support Edward as he has an ageing clientele. His home based business creates a safe place for elderly clients to visit that is not overwhelming and intimidating as a busy commercial environment (IE; PARKING, TRAFFIC, CROWDS ETC) The presence of Edward's clients bring with it the ability for an aging population to communication between each other, the other residents in the street - rebuilding strong and resilient relationships, giving us much needed confidence & making us feel our street and neighborhood is much safer place to live. Edward cared for his dying father and is experienced in working with an elderly clientele bringing life, confidence, trust, safety and security back into our homes and local neighborhood.
