3 new products will be hitting our shelves in the coming months from the Kevin Murphy Range.

First to come will be the Smooth Again Wash & Rinse. Smooth Again is replacing the Luxury Range, and is designed to treat all types of frizzy hair not just thick & curly. Everyone’s hair gets frizzy especially in the North Qld Tropics, this is where Kevin Combines the best ingredients from science and nature to bring you the very best in hair care to combat frizz. Monoi Oil is used by the Polynesians. With its heavenly fragrance and its ability to soften and protect your hair from all elements, this lightweight oil works by closing off the cuticle to smoothen you hair and make it shiny. Modern hair technology is moving away from overloading your hair with protein that can cause your hair to become brittle and dry, KM researchers have now come across a keratin protein. Kevin realises everyone’s hair has different needs, even single strands on a person’s head require different attention. This is where the keratin protein comes in, it mimics the natural protein in the hair and attaches its self to where it’s needed to de-frizz your hair. Along with other smoothing ingredients such as sunflower seed oil and cocoa butter to smooth, restore elasticity and care for you scalp, weather you hair is curly or straight, thick or fine smooth again will be sure to make you frizz free.

The next KM product to hit our shelves, Leave.In Repair, falls in with the Repair.Me range. As we all know the Balayage craze has taken the world by storm, and it’s not going anywhere any time soon. When you combine this revolutionary colour technique with the trend of longer lengths and textured styles you’re going to get hair that is screaming for repair and nourishment. The only problem is you’re trying to treat your damaged ends when your roots are perfectly healthy, its one extreme to another. So Kevin has created Repair.Me, this range contains an enzyme called papain that keeps the proteins soft, again moving into a new protein technology that does not make the hair brittle with over use like some of the old protein rich products on the market. Containing ingredients such as Orange Peel Oil for its Vitamin C Protection, Hydrolysed Pea Protein and Jojoba seed oil to add shine and smoothness while regulating moisture loss. The most damaged areas of the hair are targeted resulting in a more even strength from root to tip. I have also noticed just from using it myself it’s great for putting in your hair after you’ve been swimming, Kev gave me some to try before Christmas and when we were away on holiday I was using it on Frankie every time she got out of the pool and it is actually amazing. Instead of getting that summer holiday chlorine build up her hair stayed soft and beautiful. There are actually so many uses for this product it’s incredible.
